Maintenance ManagerBemana is searching for a Maintenance Manager in Jesup, GA to join the team of a well-established leader in the pressure-treated lumber and building products industry, supplying residential, commercial, and industrial markets nationwide. With decades of operational expertise and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, they offer long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on plant performance and team development.The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing mechanics and maintenance staff, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment. This role manages the day-to-day repair and upkeep of fixed assets within our treatment plants, diesel engines, trucks, trailers, and forklifts.Benefits:Base salary of $110,000-130,000 (If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.)Profit-SharingBonus ProgramsMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401K Matching (100% of the first 3%, 4th and 5th percent we match 50%.)Flexible SpendingPaid Time OffKey responsibilities:Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure all team members follow established protocols (PPE, Lock out/tag out, electrical safety, etc). Lead by example!Data Analysis & Reporting: Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and KPIs. Analyze downtime, maintenance costs, and reliability metrics. Report on performance too senior management.Preventative Maintenance Records: Monitor and maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance activities to guarantee compliance with deadlines.Equipment Maintenance: Supervise repairs and preventative maintenance for a wide range of equipment, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers for parts and equipment locallyInventory Management: Oversee parts inventory through weekly cycle counts, slow-moving parts audits, and monthly full physical inventories.Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with pumps, valves, motors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems used in manufacturing processes.Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, Suggest upgrades or replacements for aging machinery.Requirements:Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school certificate preferred5 years maintenance experience2 years maintenance supervisory experience and/or trainingEquivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to travel for trainingApplication ProcessIf your experience matches the description above, submit your resume, and one of our recruiters will be in touch to tell you more about the position and learn more about your experience and aspirations.If your experience does not match this job description, we still encourage you to reach out to one of our recruiters, so we can learn about your professional aspirations for future job openings.About BemanaBemana provides recruiting services to the nation's equipment and industrial sectors.
