Pay Rate: $170,000 - $200,000

What You’ll Do

• Architect and oversee the mechanical engineering of custom heavy-duty enclosures, structural skids, industrial control cabinets, and sophisticated mechanical assemblies.
• Champion the evolution of internal engineering protocols, establishing cutting-edge design standards and operational best practices.
• Synchronize with cross-functional leaders in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Development, and Production to guarantee on-time, on-scope project delivery.
• Cultivate engineering talent by conducting rigorous design reviews and providing dedicated technical mentorship to junior designers.
• Streamline manufacturing workflows by identifying and implementing strategic design efficiencies, component standardization, and advanced manufacturability principles.
• Spearhead the comprehensive structural design and system integration for specialized generator housings and integrated power distribution units.
• Optimize structural integrity and HVAC integration, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maximize thermal efficiency, safety, and long-term durability.
• Formulate material and component selection strategies tailored specifically to geographic demands and harsh environmental conditions.
• Deliver exhaustive engineering documentation packages, including precise technical drawings, comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs), and regulatory compliance certifications.
• Synthesize client requirements by serving as the primary technical liaison and consultative partner throughout the entire project lifecycle.

What You Bring

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Industry Expertise: A minimum of 8 years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, featuring at least 5 years focused specifically on mission-critical custom enclosures, fuel tanks, or UL-compliant protective structures.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven mastery of mechanical design within heavy industrial, commercial construction, or large-scale power infrastructure environments.
• Technical Credentials: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced command of Revit, 3D AutoCAD, and modern structural/thermal engineering design platforms.
• Leadership Capability: Superb communication, analytical troubleshooting, and team-building skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional success.
