• Coordinate with vendors as needed to evaluate, test, and integrate third party software products
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of systems and information
• Communicate development status, issues, and solutions through clear analysis and reporting
• Contribute to organizational and engineering objectives through successful project execution

This posting outlines the primary responsibilities of the role, but is not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned in alignment with business needs.

To thrive in this role, you have:

• 3 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands on design and implementation responsibilities,
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or similar object-oriented languages, with solid software design fundamentals,
• Practical experience applying software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including design, coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, and testing,
• Experience in software design, implementation, debugging, testing, secure coding, and technical documentation, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to travel 10%

Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Purpose is the reason a company exists. It's not about making money or selling products - it's the deeper "why" behind everything we do. It answers the question: What problem are we solving? What positive change are we creating?

For Siemens, our purpose has been clear for over 175 years: We create technology to transform the everyday, for everyone.

The world needs technologies that work. Technologies that matter. Technologies that solve today's challenges and help shape a better tomorrow. And that's exactly what we build. By bringing together the real world (factories, buildings, power grids, trains) with the digital world (software, data, AI, digital twins), we help our customers become more competitive, resilient, and sustainable.

Our technology is everywhere - in trains and transportation, we help move people faster, safer, and more sustainably.
