Senior Billing And Coding Compliance Analyst & Educator

These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis. These roles are responsible for translating patient diagnoses, treatments, and procedures into standardized medical codes. Medical coders ensure accurate coding to support billing processes, comply with regulations, and maintain the integrity of patient health records for reimbursement and reporting purposes. Individual contributors with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Spends majority of time leading the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). Experienced individual contributor that has extensive area or subject matter expertise. Limited oversight from manager. Manages projects or processes. Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience required. Licensure: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), AAPC or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), AHIMA, required. Other similar coding certifications may be considered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $71,988.80 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
