Material Handler

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay Range:
Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Accept incoming goods and compare them with shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect incoming items for visible damage and document findings as needed.
- Operate transport equipment such as hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Record relevant data into data processing systems for inventory management.
- Organize storage, assembly, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Basic knowledge of principles, procedures, and routines in material handling and inventory management.
- High school diploma or GED certificate required.
- Ability to pass a 10-year background screening and a 10-panel drug screening.
- Ability to provide 7 years of employment history upon request.
