Construction Estimator – Miami, United States – Permanent Contract Type: Permanent Pole: BATIMENT INTERNATIONAL (AP002) Full/Part Time: Full Time Remote/Onsite: On‑site/Office based Travel Requirements: No travel required Requisition ID: 3823 Position Summary The candidate will work on tasks related to project cost estimation, preparing a comprehensive Bid Package for review by the Senior Estimator before any project deadline. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Properly develop RFIs and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Perform quantity take‑offs and calculate detailed quantities for material, labor, and equipment costs. Elaborate detailed estimate breakdowns including material, labor, equipment, and indirect costs associated with construction tasks. Maintain subcontractor bid list. Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain prices. Collect and organize data for use in bid proposals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. At least 3 years of experience performing the duties described above. Proficient in Excel, MS Word, Onscreen Takeoff or similar, Bluebeam or similar.
