We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens position near Pensacola, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician looking to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a new residency program launching in 2024.

Job Overview:

• Position Type: Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
• Specialty: Hospitalist Medicine
• Shifts Available:
  • Physician: 6a-6p (day) or 6p-6a (night)
  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP): 7a-7p / 8a-8p / 4p-4a

• Hospitalist Program Profile:
  • 14-physician program with APP support
  • Open ICU: 13 beds
  • Day and Nocturnist positions are available to match your preferences
  • No codes or procedures required
  • Full intensivist and critical care subspecialty support provided
• Support Staff:
  • Advanced Practice Providers assist during multiple shift times
  • Integrated with the new Internal Medicine Residency program starting in July 2024, offering opportunities to work closely with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Licensing: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Florida medical license before starting
• Experience: Strong preference for candidates with prior hospitalist experience or experience working in a hospital-based setting
