CNA - InpatientFounded in 1982 as Joliet Area Community Hospice, Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care is an independent, nonprofit healthcare provider licensed in 11 counties in northwest Illinois. We provide exceptional serious illness care, hospice care and grief support for adults and children.The majority of our direct patient care is in the field with Lightways team members providing care in the home, nursing facility or assisted living facility. We also have a 24-bed inpatient unit in Joliet. Non-clinical staff are based out of our Joliet administrative offices.As a member of this dynamic team, your responsibilities would include providing quality patient care to our patients and assisting them with their ADL's. Prior experience in hospital setting, nursing home or long-term care preferred.Our Inpatient Unit team works 12-hour shifts in our facility. The position works three (3) shifts a week from 7pm – 7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays.Key Responsibilities:Provide compassionate care, emotional support, and companionship to patients and familiesAssist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activitiesMonitor, document, and report patient condition and changes to the RNEnsure patient safety and proper use of equipmentMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environmentFollow care plans, policies, and participate in training and team activitiesEducation/Experience:High school diploma or GED.Meets the training requirements of Illinois.Current CNA certification.Benefits:401(k) matchingHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePet InsurancePersonal Time OffHoliday Paid
