Assistant Manager (09433) 4101 SE 192nd Ave Full-time Job Category: Store Assistant Manager Assistant Manager responsible for all shift operations, including cost control, inventory, cash handling, staffing, customer service, and store cleanliness. Ensures adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate all store equipment. Stock ingredients and products from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare all products. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Use clear written and verbal instructions and communicate with customers and team. Perform basic math and provide accurate monetary change. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Handle bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds). Move and stack items up to 72 inches high. Essential Functions / Skills Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. Great motor coordination and speed. Accurate data entry and cash handling. Ability to work independently, under stress, and in a team environment. Ability to analyze and compile data, make judgments, and decisions. Work Conditions & Physical Demands Varying and sometimes adverse outdoor weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks. Indoor temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+; sudden temperature changes are possible. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and hot surfaces up to 500°F. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts to navigate. Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lb), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs or ladders, forward bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and eye‑hand coordination for extended periods. Qualifications & Requirements Must follow all company policies and procedures 100% of the time. Ability to set an example for staff in cost control, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
