In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons-you will be setting up, programming, and operating high-end machinery to bring complex drawings to life.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Setup & Maximize: Efficiently set up and operate our Fadal CNC Milling Centers and Okuma Genos L3000-e turning centers with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
• Program & Optimize: Utilize Edgecam CAD/CAM software (or equivalent) to generate CNC programs, and confidently make on-the-fly program edits at the machine to maintain tight tolerances.
• Blueprint to Reality: Read and interpret complex blueprints, applying your strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Quality Control: Use precision measuring equipment to inspect your own work and ensure every part meets exact dimensions.
• Shop Leadership: Organize and manage work orders, plan daily tasks for yourself (and support team resources based on material availability), and keep your workspace clean and organized.

What You Bring to the Team (Requirements)

• The Experience: 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist (setup, operation, and programming).
• The Tech Skills: Computer literate with solid experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Syteline is a major plus!).
• The Sharp Eye: Deep understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision inspection tools.
• The Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who can manage their time effectively, organize daily workflows, and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.

Responsibilities

This position of CNC Machinist requires effective and efficient use of ones time in set up and operation of our Fadal CNC Milling Centers and Okuma Genos L3000-e. Knowledge of programming with CAD/CAM software (Edgecam) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-Up and Operate CNC Machining Center safely and accurately
• Produce CNC Programs using Edgecam CAD/CAM Software or equivalent
• Make program edits as needed to maintain tolerance as required per drawing
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Be able to use precision measuring equipment to confirm dimensions and accuracy
• Maintain a healthy and clean work environment
• Other Duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Must have at least five to seven years' experience as a CNC Machinist
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office, must be able to create and edit Word documents and Excel spreadsheets
• MRP/ERP systems, Syteline a plus
• Organizing and managing job (work) orders
• Planning daily work tasks for themselves and others based on availability of materials and resources
• Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
