Nuclear Med Tech PET/CT- Full Time

Nuclear Medicine TechnologistWe're seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician's scanning instructions, skillfully administering radiopharmaceuticals and contrast as appropriate, performing PET/CT and other nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and radiation safety, and expertly operating PET/CT and gamma camera equipment.Minimum Requirements:1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.BLS certification.Experience with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine preferred.Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT where required by state regulations is preferred for regional roles.Willingness to work in mobile/coach unit environments. Typical staffing model is two technologists per mobile unit.Long-term commitment to quality patient care preferred by the client.Willingness to travel between coverage sites within the region, including UConn, Winchester, Mt.
