Position Overview We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Technician to join our expanding team devoted to providing top-notch imaging services. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations, collaborate with a dedicated team of health professionals, and play a vital role in delivering comfort and clarity to patients through thorough and compassionate imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations at each step
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, promptly addressing any technical issues
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic health record system
- Actively pursue knowledge of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team setting
