**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and cook meals according to pre-planned menus, dietary restrictions, and resident preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Assist in menu planning and food inventory management.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and organized.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Respond to resident feedback and requests promptly and courteously.

**Qualifications:**

- Must have proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the dietary department in a healthcare or school system setting.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to adapt to menu changes and dietary requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Serv Safe certification in food handling and safety is REQUIRED.
- A passion for working with the elderly population is highly desirable.
