The firm is expanding its use of artificial intelligence, data, and automation across its investment and business operations. A dedicated internal technology team is building platforms that connect information across systems, support AI-powered workflows, and help investment professionals and operating teams work more effectively.

\n

Products are developed for internal use first, with opportunities to extend successful capabilities to portfolio companies. The team combines the resources and business exposure of an established investment firm with the autonomy, ownership, and pace of a startup.

Position Overview

\n

The Technical Product Manager, AI Platforms & Enablement will shape and deliver AI-powered products that address business and operational priorities across the firm.

\n

\n

Working closely with Principal and Senior Engineers, investment professionals, and operating teams, you will identify opportunities, test hypotheses, establish product priorities, and guide solutions from experimentation through production and adoption. Early initiatives will include bringing together existing AI prototypes, developing shared platform capabilities, and strengthening the data foundations that support agentic workflows.

The role requires technical depth, sound business judgment, and a record of turning ideas into practical products. You will take direct ownership of initiatives within a small team, balancing business needs, engineering feasibility, and speed of execution.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI, data, and automation across investment and business operations.
\n
• Partner with deal teams, operating professionals, and business leaders to understand workflows, define problems, and establish measurable outcomes.
\n
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements, testable hypotheses, and actionable delivery priorities.
\n
• Collaborate with engineers to evaluate data architecture, system dependencies, technical tradeoffs, and implementation approaches.
\n
• Develop successful prototypes and proof-of-concept projects into reliable, production-ready products.
\n
• Consolidate existing AI use cases into a cohesive enablement platform that supports shared capabilities and broader adoption.
\n
• Advance the data foundations needed to support agentic AI systems and connected workflows.
\n
• Evaluate ideas emerging from internal hackathons and experimentation to determine their business value and development potential.
\n
• Establish measures of product adoption, operational improvement, and business impact to guide continued investment.
\n
• Support product rollout and iteration, with opportunities to extend successful internal capabilities to portfolio companies.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• At least five years of relevant experience in technical product management, engineering, product leadership, or a founder role with significant product ownership.
\n
• Demonstrated success taking products or technical initiatives from initial concept through delivery and adoption.
\n
• Strong understanding of data platforms, data architecture, and how information moves through interconnected systems.
\n
• Ability to engage directly with engineers, assess technical feasibility, and make informed product decisions.
\n
• Familiarity with software development concepts and at least one programming language.
\n
• Knowledge of practical AI use cases and the ability to assess their potential business applications.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience developing hypotheses, testing assumptions, and using evidence to guide decisions.
\n
• Ability to establish priorities and independently advance initiatives when requirements are still evolving.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience within private equity or in a product or technology role supporting investment professionals, deal teams, or portfolio company operations.
\n
• Experience founding a company or building products within an early-stage or rapidly growing startup.
\n
• Experience developing, deploying, or scaling AI-enabled products, including generative AI applications or agentic workflows.
\n
• Previous software engineering experience or substantial technical ownership of data-intensive products.
\n
• Familiarity with investment management, venture capital, or technology-driven operational improvement.
\n
• Experience bringing individual prototypes and experimental tools together into shared platform capabilities.
\n

Working Environment

\n

You will join a small technical team with direct access to business and investment stakeholders. The position offers significant autonomy and requires a practical approach to experimentation, prioritization, and execution.

\n

\n

Success will depend on your ability to move comfortably between technical discussions and business decisions, challenge assumptions, and personally advance initiatives from concept to implementation. An entrepreneurial mindset and experience delivering meaningful results with limited resources are particularly valuable.

Compensation and Location

\n

Cash compensation generally ranges from $300,000 to $500,000+, depending on experience and scope of contribution. The compensation package also includes the opportunity to participate in investment-related fund economics.

\n

\n

The position is remote within the United States. Candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone are particularly encouraged to apply, although location within the United States is flexible.
