Our fast-paced personal injury law firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to oversee and manage client cases from intake through settlement. Our ideal candidate will be incredibly organized and have experience drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing case files.

Compensation:$45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Maintain and organize all case files, and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines, billing, and providing reminders as necessary
- Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested
- You'll be opening insurance claims, along with assisting clients with getting treatment for injuries
- Preparing a demand package and assisting with settlement negotiations
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
- Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed
- 2 years of prior experience in pre-litigation personal injury case management
- Previous legal/case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
