Job Description:

Weekend-Only Day Shift

Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Up to $3,000 Relocation Assistance

Based on meeting eligibility requirements; 2-year commitment required.

• Assess patient conditions and through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans. * Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care. * Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols. * Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. * Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. * Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance. * Advocate for patient safety by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures. * Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. * Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. * Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. * Provide emotional and physical support to patients and their families during recovery. * Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skill set, demonstrating compassion and respect to patients and family undergoing stressful procedures and treatments. [Required]

• Works independently, self-motivated, takes direction from physician and management to complete assignments. [Required]

• Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures. [Required]

• Must be proficient in English [Required]

• EMR charting [Required]

• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department [Required]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ year medical surgical experience [Required]

• 1+ year surgery experience [Preferred]
