Assistant Coach - Softball

Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Women’s Softball program including but not limited to practice and competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience 2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level. Knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations. Good organizational, interpersonal communications, and computer skills necessary.
