Forklift OperatorWe are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy peanut shelling facility. This position requires someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working overtime during the busy shelling season.Responsibilities:Operate a forklift safely throughout the facilityMove, load, unload, and stage materials and productsTransport peanuts and other materials to designated areasAssist with general warehouse and production duties as neededFollow all safety procedures and workplace guidelinesKeep work areas clean and organizedComplete other duties as assignedRequirements:Previous forklift operating experience REQUIREDMust be comfortable working in a peanut shelling/production environmentMust be available to work Monday through SaturdayOvertime is requiredMust be comfortable working up to 14 consecutive days during peak shelling seasonDependable attendance and reliable transportationAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentImportant: This position has a demanding schedule during peak season. Candidates must have the availability and flexibility to work required overtime and extended consecutive workdays.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithville, GA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
