Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Travel Nurse Position

Minimum experience: 2 years; first timers are accepted. Patient population: Neonates to Pediatrics. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, RRT, NRP, PALS. General skills and work setting requirements: NICU, high risk deliveries (must have experience); umbilical cord gases, required experience with Draeger, Servo I. Required skills pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation, basic EKG, BiPAP, CPAP, trache collar, surfactant administration. Unit systems: Epic (required). Scrub color: Hunter Green. RTO: MAX 7 days. Weekends: Every other weekend unless shifts are specified. Floating: Yes, within facility (including adult care) and possibly to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South). Call requirements: Not specified. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
