Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population across Medical-Surgical, MS/Telemetry, and PCU units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float as required to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility
• Perform vital sign checks and blood glucose checks independently as part of routine patient assessment
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4–5 on PCU and 1:5–6 on MS and MS/Tele units
• Document and communicate using Epic (required) , Pyxis, and SBAR
• Work every other weekend (approximately 6 weekends over a 13-week contract) and cover applicable major holidays per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in Epic is required
• Willingness and ability to float to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or PCU patient populations and diagnoses
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
