The Opportunity As an Expediter you will perform mildly complex expediting activities to support project teams, with potential expansion to more complex activities or support across multiple projects. May be required to support other procurement duties. Receives general supervision. Key Responsibilities Understand project requirements from initiation, proactively use available information, and assist in developing the project expediting plan. Proficient in expediting tools used to track vendor performance and deliverables. Coordinate and lead the tracking process, communicate with the project and supply chain, and collaborate with engineering and material receiving regarding tracked submittals and equipment status. Review and evaluate vendor schedules (production planning, shop workflow, material acquisition, assembly, shipment) to identify discrepancies against project requirements. Calculate, track and maintain liquidated damages (or other, as required) positions in accordance with contracted terms. Prepare status reports and present to project management. Receive, organize and upload equipment shipping details to field material receiving system or coordinate with the field for upload. Understand relevant contract responsibilities as they pertain to order delivery and expediting. May train others in the function of an Expediter. File appropriate record documents and follow corporate and project filing rules. May be responsible for shop visits to monitor progress and shop position. Individual contributor with no subordinates. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical/Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred) or relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
