Responsibilities:

• Safely transport children to and from childcare facilities, schools, and designated pick-up/drop-off locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition
• Maintain accurate attendance records and passenger logs for each route
• Supervise and assist children during boarding and exiting the vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company transportation policies
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and childcare staff regarding schedules or concerns
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked with safety equipment

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record
• CDL or passenger endorsement preferred but not always required
• Previous experience driving children or in a childcare/transportation setting is a plus
• Must pass a background check and child abuse clearances as required by PA state law
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Patient, responsible, and nurturing demeanor with children
• Strong punctuality and time management skills
