Math and Science Teacher

What You'll Do: Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time. Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs. Mentor each student and support their social‑emotional growth. Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture. Keep student records accurate and organized. Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus. Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre‑Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre‑Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided. Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges. Mentoring experience and a passion for social‑emotional learning. Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student‑centered environment. Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem‑solve as needed. Background Screening Requirement: Florida residents require Level 2 background screening through Why Fusion?
