Make an impact supporting students and their families as a skilled School Social Worker in a welcoming school environment near Lake Zurich, IL. This contract position is a wonderful opportunity to use your expertise to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for young learners, working closely with students, families, and staff throughout the school year. This assignment is part-time (0.4 FTE), with in-person services primarily provided at an elementary school.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) specific to Illinois
• Previous school-based social work experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Dedicated to supporting the social and emotional well-being of children

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need
• Develop and implement individualized plans to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral goals
• Coordinate with teachers, counseling staff, and administrators to address student needs
• Serve as a resource for families, connecting them with community supports as needed
• Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings, providing input and documentation as required
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
