About Us BuildDirect is a publicly traded, technology-driven flooring and building materials company. Our Florida footprint is growing fast, with locations in Fort Myers, Tampa, Sarasota, and Orlando, and more expansion on the horizon. We run a modern, integrated commerce stack, and we need someone on the ground in Florida who can own it. The Role You'll be the go-to technology resource for our Florida operations, supporting and administering the systems that run our business end to end: ecommerce, ERP, point of sale, integrations, and everything in between. You'll be based centrally in Florida and travel to our Fort Myers, Tampa, Sarasota, and Orlando locations as needed. This is not a ticket-queue job, and it is not a role you can grow into. We need a proven expert in Shopify, NetSuite, and Celigo from day one. You'll work directly with our VP of Technology and have real ownership over systems that drive revenue. When something breaks at a store, you fix it. When a workflow can be automated, you build it. When you don' know the answer, you figure it out. What You' You'll Do Administer and support our core platforms: Shopify (ecommerce and POS), NetSuite (ERP), and Celigo (integration platform) Provide hands-on and remote IT support across our Florida locations: POS hardware, networking (UniFi), and Microsoft 365 Troubleshoot and maintain integration flows between Shopify, NetSuite, and downstream systems Support new store openings and acquisitions: systems setup, data migration, network buildout, and staff onboarding Monitor system health, investigate data discrepancies, and resolve sync and order-flow issues before they impact customers Document processes and continuously improve how we operate Use modern AI tools to research, troubleshoot, script, and automate. We expect you to use every tool available to solve problems fast What We Require Expert-level, hands-on experience with all three: Shopify, NetSuite, and Celigo. Not familiarity, not exposure. You have administered these platforms in production, built and fixed integration flows, and can walk us through real problems you've solved in each. Candidates without deep experience in all three will not be considered. Shopify POS experience strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting instincts across SaaS platforms, integrations, networking, and end-user hardware A proven self-starter who takes ownership and drives problems to resolution without hand-holding A critical thinker who diagnoses root causes, not symptoms A fast learner who can pick up new platforms (HubSpot, Klaviyo, and others) on the job Based in or willing to relocate to Central Florida, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between our four locations Bonus Points SuiteQL, saved searches, or NetSuite scripting Shopify Liquid, Flow, or API experience Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID UniFi or comparable networking experience Retail or ecommerce industry background Scripting ability (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) Who Thrives Here You're resourceful, driven, and motivated by ownership.
