Behavior Classroom Aide (2026–2027 School Year) – El Monte, CA

Location: El Monte, CA & Surrounding Areas

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)

As a Behavior Classroom Aide (Behavior Technician) with Amergis Healthcare Staffing, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs within the Mountain View School District. From the very first day, you will help create a structured, supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop independence, and reach meaningful milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support in classroom settings

• Implement ABA-based strategies to encourage positive student behaviors

• Support de-escalation and assist with crisis intervention when necessary

• Track and document student progress accurately

• Help students build independence, focus, and confidence

• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)

• Experience in education, ABA, or behavior intervention (preferred)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Patient, positive, and student-centered approach

• Passion for supporting children and helping them succeed
