About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to spearhead the development and maturation of its enterprise security program. The CISO will be a key leader in the IT organization, responsible for cybersecurity operations, risk management, security engineering, incident response, governance, and security strategy. This role demands a strategic and execution-oriented leader who can align security initiatives with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and the broader IT strategy. The successful candidate will lead security operations, incident response, and security engineering programs, and will be expected to have a strong background in security operations, incident response, risk management, and security engineering, with a focus on practical, high-impact leadership in a healthcare or highly regulated environment. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years' of experience in information security or related IT leadership roles. A minimum of 5 years' of experience in leading security teams or major security functions in a complex enterprise environment is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in security operations, incident response, risk management, and security engineering, and experience with SIEM technologies and security monitoring programs. Strong executive communication skills, the ability to translate technical risk into business language, and relevant security certifications are also necessary. The CISO will be expected to build and lead a high-performing security team, collaborate with leaders across IT and business functions, and ensure that security is viewed as an enabler rather than an obstacle.
