Aircraft Software Integration Intern

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering-system, vehicle-sensor, and other datasets to identify patterns and support predictive modeling.
• Create charts, dashboards, and real-time performance monitoring using data visualization tools.
• Clean, preprocess, organize, and query data using SQL and databases.
• Assist with machine learning model development and validation for autonomy applications.
• Develop small data pipelines, automation scripts, simulations, and workflow-improvement tools.
• Help test and integrate planning, perception, controls, and other software across aircraft, simulation, and operations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with Python for scientific programming and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Plotly.
• Basic understanding of SQL and working with data.
• Coursework or experience with statistics, linear algebra, or numerical methods.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts or frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Strong interest in applying engineering and data analysis to real-world problems, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Exposure to Git, debugging, documentation, robotics or automation, C++ or Java, cloud services, or big-data tools is helpful but not required.
