Project Registrar

JOB SUMMARY: The Project Registrar is the technical lead for the physical and digital inventory of over 4,000 objects. They are responsible for “shelf-to-screen” accountability, utilizing specialized hardware to barcode, digitized, and rehouse the collection into new archival units.RESPONSIBILITIES:Inventory Execution: Perform item-level audits of artifacts, updating location data and condition reports.Physical Rehousing: Execute the transfer of artifacts into acid free boxes, photographs/artwork into mylar sleeves, utilizing the proper archival shelving and storage.Hardware Operation: Lead operator for scanners and thermal printer to develop and maintain barcode system for inventory.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
