Director of OperationsWe are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to provide senior leadership across construction operations and help drive the continued growth and performance of the business.Reporting directly to the President, this senior leadership role will oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple projects, develop project teams, manage client relationships, coordinate resources, and ensure successful project execution.The ideal candidate is a proven construction leader who understands the full project lifecycle-from preconstruction and planning through field execution and closeout-and has a strong track record of developing Project Managers and Superintendents while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and financial results.Position DescriptionThe OpportunityThe Director of Operations will work closely with executive leadership and project teams to oversee an active project portfolio and support continued business growth.ResponsibilitiesProvide operational leadership and oversight across multiple construction projectsWork directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive successful project executionMaintain accountability for project financial performance, schedule, safety, quality, and staffingReview monthly project cost and revenue projections and support company revenue forecastingOversee manpower and equipment planning across projectsMaintain strong relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors, architects, and engineersSupport projects from preconstruction through completion and resolve complex operational and contractual issuesReview and negotiate change orders while identifying and mitigating project risksPartner with leadership on business development, proposals, and preconstruction effortsDevelop, mentor, and lead Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and emerging leadersSupport recruiting, performance management, and succession planning for operational teamsPosition RequirementsQualifications15+ years of progressive construction experience, including significant Project Management and operational leadership responsibilityExperience leading multiple projects and project teamsStrong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, change management, and risk managementProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and project staffExperience developing and maintaining strong owner and client relationshipsExperience supporting business development and preconstruction activitiesStrong negotiation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of construction technology, including HCSS, Primavera, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OfficeBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be consideredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base compensation25% annual bonus opportunity401(k) with 5% match optionAutomobile allowanceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsEmployee stock purchase opportunity at a discounted ratePaid time off and company-paid holidays
