About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinic or acute inpatient medical surgical settings. License: Valid RN Licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a kidney transplant specialty unit. Shifts will be 5 days per week, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM. There is no on-call or weekend requirement. No floating is required for this position. The candidate may come into contact with Covid patients. The facility requires all travelers to have the flu vaccination. Basic medical surgical skills are acceptable for consideration. Two supervisory references are required, including one from the most recent assignment. Candidates must have completed a minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Requested time off must not exceed 7 days during the 13-week contract. Candidates in specified specialties may need to pass an EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for clearance. Compliance requirements will need to be fulfilled upon hire.
