Bus Driver / Utility

Job Summary
• To transport students to and from school, on fields trips, and to/from other sites within designated route(s) and to ensure the safety of student passengers while riding in a school bus.
• Performs general ground maintenance work: plants, cultivates, waters and sprays plants, shrubs, trees and flowers: fertilizes, waters, and cares for lawns, using mower.
• Performs general maintenance and repair work to district buildings, equipment and grounds.
• May use carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding tools to perform general maintenance work.
• May assist mechanic in the minor repair and maintenance of busses and other vehicles.

SPECIAL NOTE: Bus Driver Certification will be required no later than 6 months from date of hire. Bus driver training will be provided. Successful attainment of bus driver certification is mandatory to continue in position.
• A pre-employment physical will be required at the District's expense.
