Job Title: Psychiatrist – Geriatric Focus (Collaborative Agreements)
Location: Pennsylvania (Hybrid or On-site Options Available)
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Reports To: Medical Director / Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist licensed in Pennsylvania to provide high-quality psychiatric care to geriatric patients across a variety of clinical settings.

In addition to direct patient care, this position will serve as a collaborating psychiatrist for nurse practitioners and physician assistants under Pennsylvania’s collaborative agreement regulations. The role combines clinical leadership , supervision , and interdisciplinary teamwork , ensuring compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations , medication management , and treatment planning for geriatric patients (typically age 60+).
• Provide ongoing supervision and collaborative oversight for psychiatric NPs and/or PAs, in compliance with Pennsylvania Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing requirements.
• Maintain and review collaborative agreements , ensuring availability for consultation per legal and organizational policy.
• Work closely with primary care providers , social workers , therapists , and nursing staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Participate in case reviews , quality improvement initiatives , and interdisciplinary team meetings .
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.
• Stay current on developments in geriatric psychiatry , psychopharmacology , and collaborative supervision best practices .

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school .
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency ; Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship preferred but not required.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration in good standing.
• Experience treating geriatric and/or adult populations in outpatient, inpatient, or long-term care settings.
• Prior experience holding collaborative agreements with advanced practice providers strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal , communication , and leadership skills.
