BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION:

Are you seeking a position as a Direct Support Professional; a Job Coach; a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional or Behavioral Health Tech? Daily duties of this position is to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands‑on position. The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or its equivalent. Successfully pass the drug test and background check. CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification. Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card. Provide proof of good driving. Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test. Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
