OPERATIONS ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities: Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager Help protect and secure store assets, including cash Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed Maintain promotional displays and manage seasonal areas Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment Handle damaged merchandise daily Assist with weekly scheduling and manage store supplies and expenses Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales Minimum Requirements: Prior retail and management experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a high-energy team environment We value our associates' contributions and invest in their success, offering health benefits, paid time off, retirement plans, and more.
