Material Handler I - 2nd Shift

divh2Material Handler/h2pCadrex is searching for a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within or near production facility or warehouse. Will be primarily responsible for maintaining adequate supply of materials at all running machines. This includes raw materials (resin), packaging, inserts, bags, labels, etc., as called out on the job Pick List. The correct paperwork associated with any movement of these materials is the responsibility of the Material Handler. Lot number control is an essential part of material tracking (especially regrind) and this falls under the Material Handler responsibilities./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliCleaning and loading all hoppers as required at set up./liliEnsuring excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials./liliMust be aware of correct drying conditions for each material and set machine dryers accordingly. Monitors clean and change necessary filter at machine hopper, hopper loaders and machine loaders (minimum once per day)./liliMove finished goods to the warehouse or to a location designated by the warehouse and fill out accurately any paperwork required./liliEnsure all hoppers, gaylords, boxes and other containers are marked accurately with material identification and quantity along with date as necessary./liliMix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc. at the correct let down ratio to meet the job requirements./liliPerforms other duties and assignments as directed by management./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliBasic understanding of the injection molding process./liliAt least 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting./liliPrevious materials handling experience./liliStrong numeracy and analytical skills./liliGood problem-solving and time management skills./liliWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office./li/ulpEducation/pulliHigh School diploma or GED/li/ulpLocation/pulliOnsite/li/ulpSchedule/pulliM-Th; 4:00pm - 2:30am/li/ulpWork Environment/pulliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
