Cisco Network Engineer

This position requires a background in the administration of LANs, WANs, and remote networks including working knowledge of network hardware, software, protocols, and network security. This position will be part of a team performing network management and support services on Solaris 11, Debian Linux, Juniper, Cisco, Mikrotik and ADTRAN

• 5+ years of experience .
• Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, system and key processes, review system and application logs, verify completion of scheduled jobs including backups
• Apply operating system patches and upgrades on a regular basis, upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary
• Maintain operational configurations and procedures
• Juniper experience is Preferred
• Service Provider Environment experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Associates or Bachelors Degree
