  • Provide mental health assessments, conduct patient intakes, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers.

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in a remote setting, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient.

  • Support patients in managing their mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.

  • Monitor patient progress, implementing follow-up strategies to assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans accordingly.

  • Develop and execute relapse prevention plans to help patients maintain stability and avoid crisis situations.

  • Facilitate coordination of care by connecting patients with additional community services to address behavioral health concerns.

  • Document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with agency guidelines.

  • Maintain communication with primary care teams to ensure integrated services and holistic patient care.

  • Promote health literacy by educating patients on self-management strategies and healthier lifestyle choices.

  • Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve veterans and their families, addressing a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other stress-related conditions. Qualifications\n

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or related field is required.

  • Must possess a current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

  • Strong understanding of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

  • Knowledge of DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy methods.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage a diverse patient population.

  • Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the role.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working within a primary care setting or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $87,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus to new hires.
