Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery. You will work on various machines such as packaging lines, conveyors, mixers, processing equipment, pumps, and automated machinery. You will utilize your mechanical skills across multiple areas rather than specializing in a single function and perform inspections and testing on motors, drives, bearings, belts, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.ResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.Work on machines including packaging lines, conveyors, mixers, processing equipment, pumps, and automated machinery.Utilize mechanical skills across multiple areas.Perform inspections and testing on motors, drives, bearings, belts, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components on industrial machinery.Proficiency in working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, fabrication, and welding.Experience with PLCs, motors, 480v, 3 phase, bearings, sprockets, sensors, proximity sensors, photo eyes, I/O, gearboxes, drives, and VFDs.Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossible placement testing in interview to determine mechanic level.Why Work Here?Our company offers a skilled matrix system with clear paths for advancement into roles such as Automation Technicians. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, slip-resistant footwear, and long pants and sleeves are required. We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with shifts being 8 hours long and some positions transitioning off a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule.
