Personal Banker

About the Role The Personal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They acquire and expand relationships with clients, asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring clients to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They also uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities, provide immediate acknowledgement, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. The role includes engaging clients and prospects in financial reviews to provide solutions, make recommendations, and follow through on commitments. They maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, consistently providing proactive solutions and problem resolutions aligned with the bank’s standards. Responsibilities also include opening consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients, acting as a resource to Client Service Specialists, filling in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed, and supporting the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to internal partners. They resolve client issues and requests, exhibiting strong follow‑through, and building familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities. About You High School Diploma or GED (required) 1 year of teller or other banking experience preferred Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations Proficiency in expanding client relationships with emphasis on creating and expanding relationships through personal and business rapport Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred Pay and Compensation The pay range for this role is $19.00–$23.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process. Location Primary location: 2255 Main St., Cambria, CA 93428.
