As part of a team of over 900 APPs at MSK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, all while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.Key Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited PA programNCCPA certification and BLS CertificationActive NYS license or be qualified for state licensure2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgeryMedicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred ORCurrent New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrationsMaster’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)Related National NP certification and BLS certification2 years of inpatient experience in orthopedics and/or neurosurgeryMedicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred Core Skills:Adept at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholdersSkilled in multitasking and caring for diverse patient populationsResourceful in securing and deploying resources effectively and efficientlyEffective communicatorRelatable and comfortable with diverse groups of peopleAdaptable in approach and demeanor to match shifting demands in real timeAdditional Information:Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NYHours:13.5-hour shifts, This is a night position, 5:30p-7:00a, with weekend and holiday rotation required.
