Registered Nurse (RN) - Total Joint, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Partner with patients and families to deliver individualized care, respecting cultural diversity and patient goals. Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation. Promote teamwork, collaboration, and participation in performance improvement activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and maintaining competency. Participate in evidence-based practice, research, and protocol development to improve patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Assist in resource management, care planning across the continuum, and supporting system protocols. Qualifications Associate or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). BLS certification required upon hire. Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of accredited nursing program.
