Legal Support Specialist

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Irvine office is looking for a Legal Support Specialist to join our growing team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will provide overall administrative-level support to the practice group in support of unlawful detainer cases filed.About Us:With nearly 50 years in the California legal industry and six offices statewide, our firm was founded on a commitment to customer service that has flourished within our culture of inclusion and diversity. It is our mission to provide the highest quality, cost-effective legal services to our clients.Compensation: $23-$28/hour DOE + benefitsResponsibilities:Provide overall administrative-level support to the practice groupContact clients via phone and email to obtain missing documentsPerform e-filing in support of unlawful detainer casesDraft notices, letters, and stipulations for unlawful detainer casesMake calls to court for processing of trial mattersRequest trial dates and prepare files for trialReview leases, legal forms, and correspondence for detail-oriented, specific informationCommunicate with clients to obtain missing information and follow up on the status of casesAssist with case intake by performing data entry with a high level of accuracySort and distribute mail, and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:Previous administrative office experience in a high-volume environmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to multi-taskProfessional communication skills via telephone and emailKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Typing speed of 65+ wpm and versatile computer skillsMust provide writing samples showcasing writing styleThe following qualifications are preferred:Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent training/experiencePrevious experience working in a law firm or legal environmentProLaw experienceSchedule:Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.We currently offer a hybrid work model for select positions within the Firm.
