Shift: Day 5 x 8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

Local Rate Within 60 Miles of Facility

Requirements:

• DC RN Licensure *must have in hand at time of submittal* pending licensure will not be accepted
• BLS
• 2 years of experience: outpatient, clinic experience required; adult IV start; transplant experience highly preferred
• 1 previous travel assignment required
• This facility requires all employees to have the flu vaccination

Skills:

• Adheres to UNOS, CMS, and institutional policies
• Coordinate all patient care needs before, during and after transplantation
• Coordinates medication adjustments post-transplant with provider
• Coordinates post-transplant care with team
• Familiarity with organ-specific diseases (e.g., ESRD, cirrhosis, heart failure)
• Identifies signs/symptoms of transplant complications (infection, rejection, etc.)
• Interpretation of lab results and diagnostic tests related to transplant
• Knowledge of immunosuppressive agents (mechanism, dosing, interactions, side effects)
• Monitors post-transplant patient progress
