Civil Project Engineer

With over 75 years of experience, Bolton & Menk specializes in providing community design and engineering solutions across the Southeast, Midwest, and beyond.In this position, you will use your experience working with coastal municipalities in the NC area to help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!What You Will Be Doing:Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple site engineering projects and personnel, both design and constructionWork closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations.Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studiesRead, interpret and prepare site engineering plans, specifications and reportsProvides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff membersMay assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staffWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or universityLicensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience in private and/or public land development projectsExperience in plan and specification development with design/construction contract administrationHigh proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DKnowledge of local site permitting processes and requirementsPossess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be requiredBolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students.
