About the Role
We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Sweetwater, TX. This role is with a rural hospital and requires a respiratory professional who can provide care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care for patients across all age groups
- Support neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric respiratory needs
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes as needed
- Assist with airway management and respiratory support
- Follow safety, infection control, and facility care standards
- Document respiratory care accurately in CPSI/Evident
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
- Active Texas Respiratory Therapist license required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NRP or STABLE certification required
- RRT or CRT certification required
- CPSI/Evident experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Holiday coverage required
