Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri)

Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Join our dedicated team in Unity Lab Services as a Glasswash Support Specialist II, where we provide seamless support tailored to our customers' unique needs. We're seeking an organized individual to handle lab support operations, including glasswash, garment management, and gas/dry ice management. You'll be the primary point of contact for lab personnel, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all support activities.

A Day in the Life:

Perform specific tasks associated with labware operations, including precision cleaning, inventory management, quality control, and sterilization through autoclaving

Collect used labware/materials from various labs and ensure dedicated points of use are fully restocked

Partner with clients to understand their labware and material needs, providing timely support and ensuring stock availability

Follow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPs & Work Instructions

Maintain accurate records of inventory and support activities.

May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Keys to Success:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 1+ year experience with material handling, customer service, or related field required Good x Practice (GxP) environment or laboratory setting experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a safety-first approach.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

The role primarily involves working independently at customer sites, which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline.

Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, is often required.

The position requires regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs.

Standing, walking, reaching, and bending are frequent activities, sometimes in varied temperature environments.

Overtime work may also be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $17.29$28.81.
