Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specializing in emergency care in Waupaca, WI. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy ER environment on 12-hour night shifts. The position is a 13-week contract with an immediate start date, offering an opportunity to work within a dedicated ER team in a small, 8-bed unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with coverage from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026.
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required, with at least 2+ years in emergency room (ER) setting. Epic electronic charting experience within the past year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius.
• Additional Information: The ER is a small unit with 8 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4. The shift includes a weekend rotation every other week and holiday rotation. No on-call responsibilities. All missed shifts must be made up within two weeks of the absence. The completion of at least one prior contract is required for travelers.
• Interview Days: Monday through Friday, with MSP Interview available.
