Dispensary Inventory Manager (Cannabis Industry) at Vangst Saint Louis, MO

The Role: Dispensary Inventory Manager Our Client seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory operations at our dispensary. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing stock levels, and leading a team of inventory staff to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and product quality. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive inventory management experience, and a deep understanding of cannabis regulations. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute inventory strategies to meet demand and minimize discrepancies Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of cannabis products and supplies Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations and support audit processes Analyze inventory data to forecast needs, identify trends, and generate reports Lead, mentor, and train inventory staff while fostering a culture of compliance and accuracy Implement best practices for inventory handling, storage, and security Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure product availability Address and resolve discrepancies, overstock, and inventory-related issues What We’re Looking For: 21+ years of age with ability to pass a federal background check High School Diploma required; additional education preferred Previous retail or warehouse inventory experience Proficiency with inventory management systems, MS Excel, and METRC/Dutchie Backoffice Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing a team Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs If you’re a skilled inventory leader with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
