Travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer - $2,792 per week

Responsibilities Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Work in a high volume, complex environment and take next best steps as applicable. Review patient requisition, indication(s), and understand the type of exam required. Discuss with medical staff and/or MFM physician(s) for clarification when necessary. Understand fetal anatomy (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), abnormalities, and take an investigative approach to MFM ultrasounds. Perform Dopplers (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, and ductus venosus) and know indications of each. Evaluate multiple gestations, chronicity, and amnionicity. Perform diagnostic transvaginal ultrasound. Experience with performing and interpreting 3D imaging is ideal. Perform guidance and assistance in diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS). Interest in continued medical education and staying up to date on ultrasound techniques. Must be able to travel between different clinic sites (reliable transportation). May be required to work variable shifts. Knowledge of scanning with Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA. Qualifications License/Certificate Verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start date. Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or an IGG titer required prior to start. Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (titer) or declination accepted; documentation of vaccination series recommended. QuantiFERON or T-Spot TB test completed within 12 months prior to assignment start date; for past positive, CXR and updated TB Questionnaire required annually. Unexpired government issued photo ID if required for position. Proof of 2 Varicella vaccinations or an IGG titer required prior to start. Physical/Health Statement attestation signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA required. Memorial Background Check within 30 days prior to assignment start. Previous 7 years employment verification. Two references from Manager/Supervisor level or above. Memorial I-9 E-Verify attestation. Drug screen completed within 60 days prior to start date. Highest level of education verified through 3rd party, primary sourced. Color photo for Memorial Badge Photo taken within past 6 months with specified requirements. Memorial National Sex Offender check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually. Memorial OIG Sanction Search within 30 days prior to start, updated annually. Memorial OFAC Sanctions List Search within 30 days prior to start, updated annually. Memorial SAM gov check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually. Memorial Skills Checklist current within 12 months prior to assignment start date, required annually or at any break in service. Memorial Core Competencies completed within 365 days prior to start with 80% pass rate. Resume reviewed by department leader before offer is extended.
